Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a formal ADHD or Autism diagnosis to work with you?

Not at all. You’re welcome here whether you’re diagnosed, undiagnosed, or unsure. Many of my clients are self-identified or exploring a possible diagnosis. If you are interested in pursuing a neuro-affirming diagnostic assessment, I can help.

Do I need therapy or coaching?

I am a licensed, experienced therapist who works at the intersection of emotional healing and practical strategy. Depending on your needs, we can work on improving mental health by focusing on things like understanding patterns, managing anxiety or depressive symptoms, healing emotional pain, or processing trauma. We can also work on skill-building activities typically offered by coaching services — things like developing effective strategies for problem solving and building systems that actually work for your brain. Most of my clients need and prefer a combination of these approaches.

Do you work with clients who have other diagnoses?

Yes! I often work with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, or other challenges. Because ADHD and Autism are frequently co-occurring, I work with many adults who meet the criteria for both diagnoses. I also especially enjoy working with career changers, entrepreneurs, business leaders, creatives, and other professionals who are feeling burned out or overwhelmed.

Can you help with medication management?

I do not prescribe medication, but I’m happy to collaborate with your prescriber or refer you to providers who can support that part of your care.
